Lepista sordida (Fr.) Singer

Sordid Blewit

An uncommon, lilac-brown species, tacky when wet, drying to pale brown. Found in meadows, hedgerows and gardens. Easily confused with Lepista nuda, but that species has more violaceous colours when fresh and a thinner cap margin. It is also quite a bit larger.
