Phylum: Ascomycota   Family: Mycosphaerellaceae

Septoria convolvuli Desm.

A scarce ceolomycete that appears on the underside of leaves in July and August. The usual hosts are Hedge Bindweed Calystegia sepium and Field Bindweed Convolvulus arvensis. This is the first instance I can find of it infecting Sea Bindweed Calystegia soldanella, itself, a scarce plant on the Outer Hebrides
